KioskX Operator is a tool for business operators who own or manage KioskX cabinets. It is not a consumer app, and it is not a game. This policy is specific to it, because it asks for permissions the games do not.

Permissions this app requests, and exactly why

  • Camera — used only while you are actively scanning. The app reads the QR code a cabinet displays to fill in its serial number during registration. It decodes the code on your device; camera images are not stored and never leave your device. Only the decoded serial number is sent.
  • Microphone — used only while you hold the hold-to-talk button. The short voice clip you record is uploaded so it can be played on that cabinet's speaker, letting you speak to the shop floor. A clip is capped at 2 MB, is tied to the cabinet you sent it to, and is discarded once played or after 15 minutes, whichever comes first. The app does not listen in the background, and it does not transcribe or analyse your voice.
  • Precise location (GPS) — used when you choose to pin a machine's position, so the fleet map and service routes are accurate. It is read at that moment, on your request. There is no background location tracking and no location history of you as a person.

Each permission is optional at the OS level. Decline it and the rest of the app keeps working; only that one feature is unavailable.

The cabinet camera (not your phone's camera)

Separately from your phone, a KioskX cabinet has its own front-facing camera, and the app lets you look through it to check on a machine — whether it is blocked, queued, or has been damaged. This is a different thing from the QR scanning above, and because it can see members of the public, we are specific about it:

  • A live-view session is bounded — it lasts at most 5 minutes and then stops on its own. There is no permanent stream.
  • Frames go to private storage, keep at most the 8 most recent per cabinet, and are deleted once they pass retention (one hour for an ordinary live frame). You can also erase them immediately with Delete captured frames.
  • Optionally, frames can be described by an automated vision model so you can ask "what is happening there?" without watching. It returns a count of people and object labels (for example queue, crowd, obstruction) plus a one-line summary. It is explicitly instructed never to guess identities, age or gender, and it performs no facial recognition and collects no biometric data. No attempt is made to identify anyone.
  • Cabinet camera access is limited to the operator responsible for that machine, and every use is recorded in an audit trail.

Account and business data

  • Your account — name, email, and a password hash (or Sign in with Apple / Google, where we receive only the identifier and email that service releases). Used to sign you in and to protect your account with two-factor authentication.
  • Your machines and their addresses — the cabinets you operate, where they are installed, and their aisle/product configuration.
  • Sales and payout records — takings, refunds, disputes and settlement for your own machines. We do not receive or store shoppers' full card numbers; card payments are processed by our payment providers.
  • Diagnostics — error reports and technical logs used to keep the service working.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not use your data for advertising or share it with data brokers.
  • We do not perform facial recognition and we do not collect biometric identifiers.
  • We do not read your contacts, photo library, health data, or financial account numbers.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app: open the menu and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your login, your profile and your sign-in identities, and it cannot be undone. Some records must be kept for a limited period where the law requires it — for example tax and settlement records for completed sales — and machines belonging to a business may be transferred to the remaining owner rather than erased. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact support@intelli-verse-x.ai and we will respond within the time your law allows.

Children

KioskX Operator is a business tool intended for adults who operate vending cabinets. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the app collects, we will update this page and its "last updated" date before the change ships.
